25/1 says Carabao Cup final is abandoned due to snow

There’s an outside chance that Sunday’s Carabao Cup final between Arsenal and Man City gets abandoned due to snow, according to our odds.

Weather experts are predicting temperatures to drop to record lows over the coming weeks, forcing the bookies to price up the chances of each city in the UK seeing the white stuff this weekend.

It’s just a 7/2 shot that snow falls on the Wembley pitch during the cup final. That’s a shorter price than Arsenal to win the game.

And if it gets really bad, then 25/1 says the Big Freeze forces officials to call the game off.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The odds suggest there’s more chance of snow falling during Sunday’s game than Arsenal beating City in 90 minutes, and at 25/1, we’re not completely ruling out the chances of the game being abandoned.”
