Daniel Kaluuya in the race to be the next James Bond

Daniel Kaluuya could follow his recent success by being named as the next James Bond, according to our traders.

The London-born actor won the Rising Star award at this year’s BAFTA awards, to add to his recent Oscar nomination for Get Out.

Now he’s 6/1 to be cast as the iconic James Bond.

He’s fourth in the betting, behind James Norton (5/2), Tom Hardy (3/1) and Jack Huston (5/1).

However, he is ahead of long-time favourite Idris Elba. The Luther star is now an 8/1 shot.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Daniel Kaluuya was a worthy winner of the Rising Star award at last weekend’s awards show and punters are already backing him to play Bond.”
