Old Grangewood hasn’t run since December at Newbury.
We deliberately kept him away from really bad ground throughout the winter. If it was good to soft I’d be thinking he is real player.
He has never been around the track, so we don’t know how he will handle it but plenty have won here on their first start.
We have looked after him and let him mature and now he appears to be the finished article. It is such a competitive handicap though.
