Liverpool v Man City and Real Madrid v Juventus in Champions League draw

The Champions League quarter-final draw has pitched Liverpool against Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will host the first-leg at Anfield – scene of their memorable 4-3 success over the Citizens in January.

And Pep Guardiola’s side will have the second-leg at the Etihad.

Elsewhere, Barcelona will play Roma, Bayern Munich meet Sevilla and Juventus play Real Madrid in a repeat of last season’s final.

The draw has shifted the outright odds, too. Barca are the new favourites at 13/5.

Former favourites Man City have drifted to 7/2, and sit alongside Bayern in the betting.

Liverpool’s odds have also taken a hit, going out to 11/1 from 9s.

Reigning champions Real Madrid are now 9/2 to go all the way.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The draw has guaranteed one English side a spot in this year’s semi-finals, but outright attention turns to Barcelona, who were as big as 8/1 last year.”
