Just 16 punters backed Roma to qualify at 20/1

Only 16 Ladbrokes punters had the foresight and confidence to back Roma to qualify for the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night.
The Italians found themselves chalked up at a whopping 20/1 to qualify for the last four and just 16 bets were placed on them doing so, the biggest wager totalling £30.
Ahead of Wednesday night’s games, Real Madrid find themselves as the new favourites to be crowned champions of Europe this season at 6/4, followed closely by Bayern Munich at 2/1.
Liverpool are the third favourites at 3/1, with Roma next in the betting at 10/1.
However if punters think another huge upset is on the cards now would be a good time to back Sevilla (125/1) and Juventus (150/1) to land the trophy at triple-figure odds.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The odds are there to be defied, and that’s exactly what Roma did. Fair play to the 16 customers out there who fancied David to take on Goliath on Tuesday evening.”
