Selby proving popular ahead of World Snooker Championship

Mark Selby heads into the World Snooker Championship as the most-backed player amongst punters.

He’s a 4/1 shot, with Ronnie O’Sullivan the second-most popular pick at 15/8.

Shaun Murphy may be a 22/1 outsider, but he’s the third best-backed player.

There’s also been more than a few punts on Ryan Day at 50/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: We’re just days away from snooker’s biggest competition and punters think it’ll be Selby taking the title from Ronnie this year.”
