West Ham v Stoke tips: Last-chance saloon for Potters?

Published:

We’re in for a six-pointer at the London Stadium tonight as West Ham United take on Stoke City.

An even-money West Ham win would take them to 37 points. They should be safe from there.

Stoke are down in 19th and six points from safety. A win at 16/5 would give them real hope of surviving. But defeat could leave them with too much ground to make up in the four games after this one.

Paul Lambert’s side have to go for it here. They’ve lost four on the spin and a draw at 12/5 doesn’t do them any good.

However, they’ve got the worst away record and conceded the most goals in the top flight. West Ham to Win to Nil is 11/5.

David Moyes’ side won the reverse fixture 3-0. It’s 16/1 that they win by the same scoreline this time around.

The Hammers will be without several regular starters but Marko Arnautovic will be keen to make his mark against his former side. He’s 4/1 to score First. You can get 7/1 on him to score 2 Goals or More too.

Javier Hernandez is 7/5 to score Anytime. He came off the bench to get the equaliser against Chelsea in West Ham’s last outing.

Despite Stoke’s poor form, Xherdan Shaqiri has been very impressive this term. If the Potters are going to get anything, he’ll be key. Shaqiri’s 11/4 to get a goal.
