Sam Allardyce sacked; Marco Silva odds-on to be Everton boss

Marco Silva is the 8/13 favourite to be the next Everton manager.
The Toffees have parted ways with Sam Allardyce and the bookies now make the former Watford boss the clear favourite to take over at Goodison Park.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “As expected, Big Sam has been given the boot and the latest betting suggests Silva is lining up a swift return to the Prem.”
The Portuguese manager is followed in the betting by compatriot Paulo Fonseca at 2/1, and former Toffees boss David Moyes at 6/1.
Our traders reckon that trio are the only realistic contenders. The odds then jump to a number of names at 16/1, including Andre Villas-Boas and Arsene Wenger.
