England finally look set to bring football home in twelve years’ time, according to our traders.

Following Theresa May’s reported decision to back a bid from England to host the 2030 World Cup, we have priced the country’s chances of doing exactly that at just 3/1.

Qatar host the next World Cup, followed by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The circulation should end up back in Europe at that stage. And England haven’t hosted the tournament since 1966.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “A successful England bid for the 2030 World Cup has never looked more likely. Football could finally be coming home!”

The FA infamously only received three votes the last time they made a bid. But this time around, it could all be very different.
