Odds suggest Wenger is a dark horse for Germany job

| 01.07.2018

Germany have only just crashed out of the World Cup, but already our trading team reckon Joachim Low could be replaced by Arsene Wenger.

Following their humiliating exit, Die Mannschaft are likely to part ways with Low. And Wenger’s odds of taking the Germany gig are now 12/1, having been slashed from their pre-match price of 25/1.

Meanwhile, with managerial uncertainty at Stamford Bridge, Low is 20/1 to take the reigns at Chelsea.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “We’re expecting Low to leave any minute now, and Wenger has every chance of replacing him.”

He added: “But it’s not all doom and gloom for the German boss, who has an outside chance of replacing Antonio Conte at Chelsea.”
