Saturday’s Premier League tips: Will Man United tame the wolves?

| 21.09.2018

The Premier League is beginning to take shape as we see some familiar names at the top of the table.

There’s a whole host of 3pm kick-offs and we take you through all the tips for another weekend of Premier League football.

Burnley v Bournemouth

Burnley go into this game needing a win to kick-start their Premier League campaign.

Sean Dyche’s men were notoriously hard to beat at Turfmoor last season and are 9/5 to pick up three points.

Matej Vydra has looked lively since signing from Derby County in the summer. He’s 9/4 to notch Anytime.

Cardiff City v Manchester City

Whilst they may have only picked up two points from their first five games, it’s clear to see Cardiff are prepared to fight to stay in the league.

However, they face a wounded animal after Manchester City lost to Lyon in the Champions League.

The Citizens will want to run up a score here and they’re 2/1 to score 4+ goals.

Crystal Palace v Newcastle United

Wilfried Zaha scored a brilliant solo goal in the 1-0 win over Huddersfield last weekend. He will be vital again and it’s 25/1 for him to score and Crystal Palace to win 1-0 again.

Newcastle will feel hard done not to pick up more than their single point so far. Rafael Benitez will see this as a game they can win.

It’s 6/1 for Both Teams to Score and a Magpies victory.

Leicester City v Huddersfield Town

Leicester will be desperate to make amends after conceding four goals to Bournemouth last week.

The Foxes were enjoying a good start and could rise into the top seven if results go their way by Sunday night.

It’s 21/20 for James Maddison to bag a goal and Leicester to win.

Liverpool v Southampton

Liverpool are full of confidence and will be buoyed by their late winner over Paris Saint-Germain the midweek.

With Chelsea not playing until Sunday, it’s 29/20 for Liverpool to win and Over 3.5 goals which would put The Reds top of the league.

Southampton squandered a two goal lead to Brighton on Monday and will be without striker Danny Ings who’s ineligible to face his parent club.

Man United v Wolves

Man United have steadied the ship following their back-to-back losses in August. The hard-fought win over Watford was typical of a Jose Mourinho side.

They face a Wolves side who have ruffled some feathers so far this season. The big-spenders have caught the eye for their attractive style of play and should cause United problems.

It’s 5/1 for The Wanderers to win. But after three-successive victories in all competitions the Red Devils are 4/7 to continue their winning streak.
