It’s a busy Saturday for our man Paul Townend at Limerick

My first ride is Voix Des Tiep for Willie Mullins in a Maiden Hurdle (12.25). He has good bumper form.

His run behind Dunvegan at the Punchestown Festival should be good enough to nearly draw here. The ground and trip will suit and if he can run to that level of form, he’ll be hard to beat.

My second ride is Prayalaguna (1.00). She’s had one run over fences in Killarney. She give me a big day at the Punchestown Festival last season, it was an important winner for me that day.

Her jumping at home has been good since then. She takes on a few horses with a bit more experience here, such as Minnies Secret and Moyhenna. They’ll be hard to beat but on hurdles ratings, my one has a great chance.

I was very taken by Dorrells Pierji (2.10) when I won his maiden on him. I’m putting a line through his run at Tipperary.

He was tough in Galway the other day and I think the horse is on the up. It is a good race though and you can make a case for plenty. The top horse, Derrinross, won the graded race in Cork the last day and that form ties in with Pleasure Dome.

Going through that form, I’d hope I’d have the measure of him. I think I can beat Pleasure Dome so I am hopeful of a big run from him and the trip will be no worry for him. I think he’s destined for big things.

Lily Trotter (2.45) has little bits of form now and again.

They only thing that I am going on here is that it’s Eric McNamara’s as he loves to have winners here at the Christmas festival and his horses are running well.

The other one I ride for him is Offshore Oscar (3.20), who is the more fancied of the two.

He’s running to a consistent level of form and ran well at Cheltenham on the last day. I’d be hopeful that he’ll be there or thereabouts.

My best ride is probably Voix Des Tiep, although I really like Dorrells Pierji who I think can go on to better things.
