The Premier League returns for a full program of midweek fixtures, with the first four tonight.
On the cards this evening are crucial clashes for a number of the relegation contenders, while at the other end Pep Guardiola’s table-toppers head to Watford.
Ahead of tonight’s games, we’ve got a flurry of top tips for you…
Watford v Manchester City
This pair’s recent head-to-head record could hardly be more one sided. Not only have the North-West giants won eight successive meetings, but their last two trips to Vicarage Road have seen 5-0 and 6-0 maulings of the Hornets.
Pep Guardiola’s men are 2/7 for victory. And with Watford managing a single goal in their last four games, the visitors are 5/4 to Win to Nil.
Sergio Aguero has hit an astonishing 10 goals in his six prior meetings with Watford – including two hat-tricks. He’s 4/5 to Score Anytime, and 10/1 for another three-goal haul against the Hornets.
West Ham United v Cardiff City
Cardiff are holding their own at home, but it’s a different story on their travels – with just one point from six games.
The Irons have thrown off the shackles lately, netting eight in their last four games, including a 3-0 win at St James’ Park last weekend. But they’re also not the tightest at the back.
Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace
These fierce rivals face off at the Amex Stadium tonight. And the odds suggest there’s not much to separate them. Brighton are 15/8, with Palace 8/5 and the Draw at 2/1.
The last two head-to-heads have seen both teams net, as have each of the Seagulls’ last four outings. It’s Evens for Both Teams to Score, while Over 2.5 Goals is a 7/5 shot.
Palace ace Andros Townsend has bagged four goals in 10 games ahead of this clash, and is 3/1 to find the net again.
AFC Bournemouth v Huddersfield Town
The Cherries may sit eight places above their visitors in the Premier League table, but they head into this game trying to avoid a fifth loss on the trot.
As for David Wagner’s men, they’re on the up – taking seven points from the last four games. A Huddersfield win here is 17/4, while they’re 23/20 in the Double Chance.
The Terriers tend to start strongly, and have led at the quarter-hour mark in three of the last four games. We make it 10/1 for Result after 15 Mins: Huddersfield.
