Wolves v Liverpool Tips: Can the Reds lay down a marker at Molineux?

Published:
Jordan Henderson - Liverpool

Liverpool travel to Molineux tonight looking to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

They face a Wolves side who’ve taken a point from games against Arsenal as well as both Manchester clubs already this season.

But the win over Chelsea earlier this month really showed they mean business.

So can Liverpool stay unbeaten in the league, or will the Wanderers be the spoilers yet again? We’ve got all the key odds right here…

Match Odds

Jurgen Klopp’s boys are 1/8 on the double chance that would see them stay undefeated. A Liverpool outright win comes in at 4/7.

Wolves have already taken some big scalps this season and you wouldn’t put it past them to do it again at 5/1.

A first draw between the two sides since 2004 is 29/10.

Talking Tactics

The home side has virtually a full squad to choose from and could name the same side that beat Bournemouth last time out.

This would mean England youngster Morgan Gibbs-White retains his place, alongside Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

Diogo Jota is ruled out so Helder Costa could come into the attacking trio.

James Milner could be fit after missing the win over Man United. Nathaniel Clyne should continue to deputise for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.

If Klopp elects to give United match-winner Xherdan Shaqiri a start, he might revert to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Dejan Lovren is set to keep his place alongside Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.

Goalscorer Odds

Shaqiri to pick up where he left off last Sunday and notch anytime is 21/10.

Mohamed Salah to bag his fifth goal in three games in all competitions is 19/20.

James Milner should be back on penalty duties, he’s 13/2 to score in a Liverpool win.

Ruben Neves might have a big say tonight. The midfielder is 5/1 to hit the onion bag.

Adama Traore’s pace could cause problems for the Kop’s defence. The flying winger is 14/1 to score last.

Wolves skipper Conor Coady to score against his former club is 28/1.
