English sides now odds-on to win the Champions League

Our traders have slashed the odds on Man United winning the Champions League following their remarkable comeback against PSG.

Having been as big as 100/1 to lift the trophy earlier this week, their odds have drastically tumbled to 9/1.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils now sit behind only Man City (9/4), Barcelona (7/2) and Atletico Madrid (8/1) in the betting.

And with four sides still going strong in the competition, just 4/5 says any English side wins the Champions League.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Last night’s result wasn’t great for our books, and now punters seemingly believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can lead United to European glory once again.”

He added: “It looks as though the trophy will be heading back to these shores with all four English sides there or thereabout in the outright betting.”
