Premier League tips: City to pile the pressure on Liverpool with a win?

We’re entering the final stretch of games in this season’s Premier League, and there are seven games for you to enjoy today.

There’s the small matter of a North London Derby as Tottenham host Arsenal at Wembley in the early kick-off, with a full rundown for you to check out here.

But we’ve got you covered for the other six games, with the key odds to ponder right here…

AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City

With a Merseyside derby for title-rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, Manchester City have a chance to regain top spot and shift the pressure onto the Reds.

City are hot favourites to win this with us. They’re 2/9 to leave the South coast with all three points.

Bournemouth haven’t ever beaten the Mancunians, but there’s got to be a first time for everything. They’re a long shot at 12/1.

Sergio Aguero keeps scoring, and he’s now leading the race for the Golden Boot. He’s scored three in four against Bournemouth, so if you fancy the Argentine to add to that, he’s 7/10.

Aguero is also 11/4 favourite to break the deadlock.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Huddersfield Town

Chris Hughton and his Brighton side are in a desperate state, and need to stop their run of poor form which has seen them slide down the table to sit just outside the relegation zone.

Without a win in the league since their final match of 2018, the Seagulls come in as surprising favourites to pick up three crucial points here at 4/5.

Huddersfield grabbed a late win in their last game against high-flying Wolves. The leagues bottom side are still underdogs here at 4/1.

Brighton came from behind in the meeting earlier this season to win 2-1. They’re 8/1 for another win with the same scoreline.

Glenn Murray needs to get back among the goals if Brighton are to avoid the drop. He’s 5/2 to score first, or a 21/20 anytime scorer.

Burnley v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace were thumped by Manchester United last time out, and Burnley could look to take advantage of the Eagles’ defensive frailties as they did against Spurs.

It’s bound to be a tight match-up at Turf Moor, with our traders struggling to pick a favourite here. Palace edge it at 8/5 to take the three points back to South-East London, but Burnley are only out at 7/4 to claim them instead.

Burnley won this fixture 1-0 last season thanks to an early Chris Wood strike.  For the same to happen again this term, it’s 25/1.

Manchester United v Southampton

Southampton grabbed a crucial win mid-week to ease the pressure on their relegation battle, but they face a tougher task against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

United’s form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer shows no signs of slowing down, and they’re not expected to struggle against the Saints in this one either. They’re 4/9 favourites for all three points.

The South-coast side blew an early two-goal lead against the Reds earlier this season in a match they really should have won. They’re 6/1 to better their draw this time around.

Another draw is priced at 10/3, with the Saints previously picking up an impressive goalless draw against Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku has been impressive since getting back into the side. He bagged a brace mid-week, and he’s 7/1 to score two or more this time around.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Cardiff City

Wolves have lost their lead in the ‘best of the rest’ race in recent weeks after a poor run, but they’ll be hoping to get back on track against relegation-threatened Cardiff City.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men head into the game as favourites to take the win at Molineux, priced at 1/2.

Cardiff won the same fixture earlier in the season 2-1, so they know they’ve got the beating of Wolves. They’re 6/1 to do the double over them.

Matt Doherty scored for Wolves in their loss against Cardiff in November, and he’s been in good form too. He’s 7/2 to get his name on the scoresheet again.

West Ham United v Newcastle United

The signing of Paraguayan Miguel Almiron seems to have inspired the Toon Army, and they’re now on a streak which has seen them pull clear of the relegation battle.

They face a tougher test here with a game against West Ham United, who haven’t been in bad form themselves recently despite a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last time out.

The Hammers come into the game as favourites at 11/10, but the Magpies can’t be ignored who are a touch longer at 12/5 for the win.

A Javier Hernandez double followed by a Felipe Anderson strike sealed the three points for West Ham in the earlier season fixture, and for a repeat 3-0 win, that’s 20/1.

The Magpies have won their last two by a 2-0 scoreline. Fancy them to make it a three-peat? That’s 18/1.
