Royal Ascot hero Frankie Dettori talks four-timers and his Saturday rides

Yesterday was a great buzz. Obviously seven winners will always be so special but it wasn’t Royal Ascot.

The way the crowd got behind me was amazing and to ride the first four winners on Gold Cup day was an incredible feeling.

When Her Majesty presented me with the Gold Cup wewere joking about the size of Stradivarius because he is quite small. She cameto see him at Newmarket and we were just having a laugh. She was in great form.

One more day to go and the way, I’m riding, I feellike I can win on anything!

Rose Of Kildare is a little bit of an outsider in the Chesham Stakes (2.30), but I don’t know much about her to be honest.

In the Jersey Stakes (3.05) I ride Maries Diamond but again he is an outsider. There are better horses in the race.

I think Lah Ti Dar could run a big race in the Hardwicke Stakes (3.40). She will like the track and was second in the Fillies & Mares Stakes.

In the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (4.20), I ride Emblazoned. It will be a big ask but I hope we can get him placed.

In the Wokingham (5.00), I am on one of the favourites in Danzeno. He likes Ascot. I was third in the QIPCO Sprint so he is a good horse on his day.

My final ride of the meeting is on Corelli in the Queen Alexandra Stakes (5.35). It is two mile 5f  and he has never run that far so who knows. Hopefully if I get one winner, it will be an amazing day.
