We profile the contenders in tonight’s live streamed PDC Darts event
It might not be the Premier League or the World Championships but tonight five of the PDC’s finest will go head-to-head from their own homes.
Chris Dobey, Devon Petersen, Matthew Edgar, Luke Humphries and Ted Evetts are all set to take part in the event, which is being streamed live by the PDC on Facebook at 7:00pm.

Chris Dobey
Dobey often brings his game to the big stage without producing the goods in the floor tournaments. That should make for an interesting spectacle this evening.
Hollywood reached the semi-finals of the Players Championship and the last-16 of both the World Championship and the UK Open in recent months. Can he bring it all together again here?
Devon Petersen
Who knows what moves we’ll get from Dancing Devon tonight. The South African has been in better form of late and made a semi-final appearance at a Players Championship event in February this year.
We know he thrives on the big stage, but how will he do without the crowd behind him? We can’t wait to find out, so long as he cuts some of those famous shapes in the process.
Matthew Edgar
The man nicknamed Primetime will get his moment in the spotlight tonight and it won’t be for having an argument with Glen Durrant for a change. That said, it appears unlikely the 33-year-old will challenge.
Edgar has failed to go beyond the last-32 of a PDC major in his career so far while his Players Championship performances have also been lacking. Could he spring a shock? There’s not long to wait to find out.
Luke Humphries
It’s been a case of like name like nature for Cool Hand recently. After reaching his second World Championship quarter-final in as many years, Humphries became the first Challenger to win a Premier League tie last month.
As is the case with a few players taking part this evening, though, he doesn’t always transfer his A-Game to the floor tournaments. Nevertheless, he’ll fancy his chances regardless of the format in tonight’s event.
Ted Evetts
Chances are you’ll have heard of Ted Evetts not for his own darting exploits but rather for his part in Fallon Sherrock’s run to the third round of the World Championships. Evetts was her first victim in round one.
Leave that to one side and SuperTed is a talented player in his own right. He’s risen to number 66 in the world, and despite finding things tough in the Players Championship, he has won a number of Development Tour events.
