Euro 2020 winner double chance odds: Take two for summer glory
The European Championship starts on Friday and the odds suggest there are seven or eight teams capable of winning the trophy.
France are now the 4/1 favourites with England drifting slightly at 5/1 but with so many nations in with a chance of being crowned champions, we have examined the Euro 2020 winner double chance odds for those of you who don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket.
England/France
England were the 9/2 co-favourites with France at the start of the week but with uncertainty surrounding Harry Maguire’s availability for the opening game against Croatia, the Three Lions are now second in the betting.
World champions France are strong in all areas and even though they have an injury concern over recalled striker Karim Benzema, they still have two of the world’s best forwards in Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.
England and France can be backed at 7/4 in the Euro 2020 winner double chance odds.
England/Belgium
Optimism is at its usual high level that England’s young squad can deliver at a major tournament and their successful group campaign, during which they won seven of their eight games, suggests they could go far.

No team had a better qualifying record than 2018 World Cup semi-finalists Belgium, who won all 10 group games, and their talented squad are 13/2 to win their first major tournament.
If you fancy either England or Belgium to win Euro 2020, that option can be backed at 2/1 – the same price as France and the Red Devils.
England/Germany
Germany have the toughest mission of all but with four of the best third-placed nations from the six groups able to reach the knockout stage, Joachim Low’s side could still make it to the last 16 even if they mess up their matches against France and defending champions Portugal.
Die Mannschaft qualified as group winners from Netherlands but they have had some worrying results lately, namely a 6-0 drubbing by Spain and a 2-1 home defeat by North Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier.
These two rivals can come together and be backed at 12/5.
Portugal/Italy
Portugal may have finished runner-up to Ukraine during the group phase but they have a magnificent squad and the feeling persists they could make a successful defence of their title with players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Diogo Jota, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes in their ranks.

Italy, like Belgium, won all 10 qualifiers, and are unbeaten in 26 matches, just four shy of their best streak between 1935-39.
Portugal and Italy are 4/1 in the Euro 2020 winner double chance odds.
Belgium/Spain
Spain’s preparations have been hit by a Covid outbreak within their camp which saw Sergio Busquets and Diego Llorente test positive and they are set to miss Monday’s group opener against Sweden.
Luis Enrique may well be regretting picking a 24-man squad instead of the permitted 26 but they still have a talented side and Rodri will be an able deputy for Busquets.
Either La Roja or Belgium are available at 11/4 to win the European Championship.
