Celtic hope to finish off the job they started in the Czech Republic and secure a clash with  AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League play-off round on Thursday night.

Goals from Liel Abada, Kyogo Furuhashi, James Forrest and Ryan Christie wrapped up a 4-2 victory in the opening leg of their third-round qualifier and they are 2/5 to win the return at Celtic Park.

Match Odds

Celtic kept their first clean sheet of the season at the weekend when a Furuhashi hat-trick on his home debut wrapped up a 6-0 victory against Dundee and they are 29/20 to win to nil against the Czechs.

However, they conceded twice a week ago and their first four matches of the season involved goals at both ends so we go 17/10 on a home win and both teams to score.

The Hoops led at half-time and full-time which can be backed at 21/20 and also won both halves which is available at 21/10.

Ange Postecoglou’s side also made a fast start, racing into a 2-0 lead inside 16 minutes and although they conceded almost immediately after grabbing their second the Glasgow giants were still ahead after half an hour which is available at 29/20.

Both teams also scored in both halves and with Jablonec needing to take chances that option can be backed at 11/1 and both sides to find the net in the first 45 minutes is priced at 16/5 in our Celtic v Jablonec betting tips.

Jablonec have won just one of their three games in the Czech top flight, conceding a late penalty in a 2-2 draw against Bohemians 1905 at the weekend, so we go 7/4 on over 3.5 goals and both teams to score or 15/8 on the hosts to win and at least four match goals.

Talking Tactics

Furuhashi seems to have nailed down the main striker role having scored four goals in his last two appearances and he could have had three more at the weekend.

The Japanese forward’s performances have kept Odsonne Edouard on the bench and that could be the case on Thursday with two from Christie, Forrest and Abada supporting the attack.

Jablonec played a 4-5-1 last week and in Sunday’s draw against Bohemians 1905, with Martin Dolezal operating as the lone striker on both occasions.

Goalscorer Odds

It is no surprise Furuhashi is the 3/1 favourite to break the deadlock as he did against Dundee and 19/20 just to get on the scoresheet, but Celtic have goals throughout the team.

Christie set up three at the weekend and scored the clincher at Jablonec so he can be backed at 13/2 to get the ball rolling or 11/5 to find the net, while Forrest is 11/2 and 15/8 in the same markets.

Israeli winger Abada has twice scored the game’s opener in the early stages of the season and is 4/1 to repeat the trick, while Dolezal is the 8/1 favourite to bag the first goal for the visitors despite not scoring this season.

Vaclav Pilar looks a much better option at 12/1 and 4/1 as the last of our Celtic v Jablonec betting tips, having scored three goals in his first four games
