K-League

It’s gameweek three of the South Korean K-League this weekend with games going on from Friday until Sunday.

We’ll preview top of the table Ulsan’s match with Busan IPark as well as third place Pohang Steelers up against Seoul, plus a quick-fire lookahead to the best of the rest…

Pohang Steelers v Seoul (11:30, Friday)

Third place Pohang Steelers will go top with a win at 6/5on Friday night.

The home side are 13/2 to win with Both Teams to Score and could fancy their chances with two goals in two games man Aleksandar Palocevic up top.

However, you may fancy checking out Seoul at 12/5 after they won last time out against Gwangju. There’s 11/5 about the draw.

Ulsan Hyundai Horang-I v Busan IPark (11:00, Sunday)

Top of the pile Ulsan entertain Busan IPark in the final game of the weekend. Home advantage could play a big part here with Ulsan at 8/15 to win.

They also have the league’s top scorer (4 goals) so far in Junior Negao and we go just 4/9 for the hosts to be the First Team to Score.

But if you fancy that this will be the day Busan grab their first win of the season then the visitors are a 5/1 shot.

There could be few goals in this with Both Teams to Score at 2/3.

Best of the rest

There’s a handful of games on Saturday including an 08:30 start for Suwon Samsung Bluewings (4/5) to grab their first win of the campaign over Incheon United (15/4).

Elsewhere, Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma are 11/4 to pick up a valuable three points against 11/10 shots Gangwon.

Over to Sunday and the opener comes from reigning champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors who’ve won both their fixtures so far. They are heavy 7/10 favourites to beat Daegu at home – and are 17/10 To Win to Nil.
