Manchester City face Newcastle United at St. James’ Parkin the quarter-final of the FA Cup after narrowly beating Championship sideSheffield Wednesday 1-0 in the fifth-round.

It’s a draw that has seen Pep Guardiola’s placed at odds on favourites at 8/11 to retain the oldest national football competition in the world.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea knocked out runaway Premier Leagueleaders Liverpool in the fifth-round and have been rewarded for their effortswith an away tie against Leicester City in the next round. Chelsea are 13/2second favourites, with Leicester close behind at 8/1.

Arsenal’s only remaining chance of winning a trophy thisseason means Mikel Arteta could take this competition seriously, but they’re upagainst Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the quarters.

The Gunners are 9/1 to notch a record 14th FA Cuptitle, with Manchester United also at 9s to equal Arsenal’s currentrecord of 13 titles.

Despite knocking out Tottenham Hotspur on penalties, NorwichCity are out at 33s to win a first FA Cup title in the history of theclub.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “Liverpool may be runningaway with things in the league but it looks as though it’s Man City who aregoing to take the rest of the domestic trophies this season.”
