Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is odds-on to be Manchester United’s next manager, according to our traders.
Could the Argentine be set for a return to the Premier League? He is now just 1/2 to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose days at Old Trafford look numbered after their inconsistent start to the season.
Despite a strong opening in the Champions League with impressive victories against Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, the Red Devils have only won two of their opening six league games as the pressure mounts on Solskjaer to turn their fortunes around.
Following their disappointing domestic start, United are 33/1 outsiders for the Premier League title and 9/4 to secure a top four finish this season.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Poch has made it clear he’s ready for a return to management and with United in freefall there’s every chance he replaces Solskjaer in the coming weeks.”
