How Twitter reacted to Jack Wilshere’s Bournemouth move
Published:He’s been the subject of the majority of this summer’s Deadline Day after his manager said he could leave on loan, and over the last two days, no less than four clubs have headed the market to sign Jack Wilshere, including Roma, Crystal Palace, AC Milan and the Cherries.
But after much debate, it’s the south coast side that the 24-year-old opted to sign for – where he’ll join up with former Arsenal youth teammate Benik Afobe.
And it was the English striker who further added to speculation following a brief interview with Sky Sports News where he couldn’t keep the smile off his face at the thought of Wilshere moving to Dean Court.
So how did Twitter react to the news of Jack Wilshere joining up with Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side?
Joel Golby had a theory…
I reckon Jack Wilshere got eight minutes into a free ‘Teach Yourself Italian’ app before sacking it in and joining Bournemouth, wbu

Daily Mirror Chief Football Writer John Cross speaks a lot of truth…
Remarkable to think there were 22 loan offers for Jack Wilshere. Puts that debate to bed. Football people still think he’s top class. #afc

Jake Humphrey makes a bold claim…
I expect Eddie Howe to be the next England manager…making Bournemouth the perfect place for Jack Wilshere…for now. ⚽️

@R9Rai thinks there’s another reason behind this move…
Arsenal getting clever loaning out Jack Wilshere so some other club can pay for his injury treatments

The England international gets the thumbs up from Jeremy Wilson
Good choices from Jack Wilshere both to have courage to address his need now for more football and also to join a manager like Eddie Howe.

Cheer up, Awari. He’ll be back in no time.
I don’t know why I felt bad seeing @JackWilshere holding a shirt that isn’t an Arsenal jersey ??

It looks like sales will go through the roof…
#afcb club shop was low on letters and numbers. Better restock for @JackWilshere shirts.
