How Twitter reacted to Jack Wilshere’s Bournemouth move

| 31.08.2016

He’s been the subject of the majority of this summer’s Deadline Day after his manager said he could leave on loan, and over the last two days, no less than four clubs have headed the market to sign Jack Wilshere, including Roma, Crystal Palace, AC Milan and the Cherries.

But after much debate, it’s the south coast side that the 24-year-old opted to sign for – where he’ll join up with former Arsenal youth teammate Benik Afobe.

And it was the English striker who further added to speculation following a brief interview with Sky Sports News where he couldn’t keep the smile off his face at the thought of Wilshere moving to Dean Court.

So how did Twitter react to the news of Jack Wilshere joining up with Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side?

Joel Golby had a theory…

Daily Mirror Chief Football Writer John Cross speaks a lot of truth…

Jake Humphrey makes a bold claim…

@R9Rai thinks there’s another reason behind this move…

The England international gets the thumbs up from Jeremy Wilson

Cheer up, Awari. He’ll be back in no time.

It looks like sales will go through the roof…

Wilshere is yet to update his Twitter profile following his move to the Cherries, but we’ll let him off – he’s had a long day.
