Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now odds-on to be sacked before Christmas according to our traders.

Despite some impressive Champions League wins during his tenure, Solskjaer is now 4/5 favourite in the Premier League Sack Race, and just 8/11 says he’s out of the Old Trafford hot seat before December 25th.

Solskjaer’s side have only picked up a single point at home this season and have suffered a pair of crushing defeats to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir within a week.

Former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is priced at a skinny 1/2 as things stand to be named the next permanent United manager.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Solskjaer’s days are surely numbered at United and with Pochettino sniffing around, there’s every chance Ole’s wheels will have come completely off by Christmas.”

United travel to Everton in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime which now feels like a six-pointer with the Red Devils’ languishing in 15th place. Could a loss at Goodison Park be the end for Ole’s time at the wheel?
