Premier League Betting Tips: Liverpool primed to get back on track?

| 30.12.2020

After the London derby between Tottenham and Fulham was called off due to rising cases of COVID-19, all eyes will be St. James Park tonight as Liverpool travel to Newcastle hoping to bounce back from their disappointing home draw to West Bromwich Albion.

Jurgen Klopp may shuffle his pack to beat Liverpool’s festive hangover in an attempt to re-establish their domestic dominance. Ahead of the 20:00 kick off, we’ve got all you need to know with our Premier League betting tips

Newcastle United v Liverpool (20:00)

This could be a backs to the wall job for Steve Bruce’s Toon Army without key players Jonjo Shelvey, Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamaal Lascelles.

Callum Wilson will need to find his shooting boots again, he’s 5/2 anytime, with Dwight Gayle 3/1 and former Reds forward Andy Carroll is 4/1 anytime.

Bruce could do worse than to set his side up for the counter attack – even at home. Isaac Hayden and either Matty or Sean Longstaff anchoring the midfield and hope Miguel Almiron can sprinkle some magic in the final third.

Andy Carroll

After throwing away three points against West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool could be like a bull to a red cape tonight. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah could have their own one-on-one shooting session. The latter is 7/2 to score 2 or more, with Mane at Evens anytime.

Liverpool are 3/10 to triumph. An away win with Over 3.5 goals in the game at 7/4. Fancy a Newcastle victory? We go 10/1.
