The pics that prove Spurs will make Deadline Day capture
There are so many prospective Deadline Deals that never get over the line because they hinge on other developments. Luckily for Tottenham, the dominoes have now been sent sprawling.
It’s no secret that Mauricio Pochettino has been chasing exciting 21-year-old Marseille winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou most of the summer, with the French club insistent that any deal would have to involve Clinton N’Jie moving in the opposite direction.
Well, as you can see from this twitter post, the first half of the deal looks to have been completed.
The Cameroon international forward has joined the French club on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent signing according to widespread reports.

Meanwhile, any doubts that Nkoudou would actually be moving to White Hart Lane also appear to have been unfounded, amid reports that Spurs are shelling out close to £10m for his services.
The French U21, who scored 10 times for Marseille last season, gave the most unsubtle of hints on his own twitter feed, posting Tottenham’s club motto in the club’s official font.
This exchange is bound to be viewed favourably by the Lilywhites faithful, with N’Jie failing to impress at all, in what has to be viewed as a rare dud signing from Pochettino’s time in England.
