This incredible Man City statistic all but guarantees an Arsenal win

Sunday’s headline fixture sees Manchester City head to Arsenal. It’s not often you see Arsene Wenger’s men priced up at 19/10 to win on home soil, and we’ve found one incredible statistic to suggest the Gunners must be backed.

Pep Guardiola’s men are 5/4 favourites, but history suggests they’re simply not going to win.

Why?

Because the Citizens have won exactly one league game at Arsenal since 1975.

Yep, that’s one victory in a whopping 42 years.

They’ve failed to win 29 of their last 30 league visits to the red half of north London, with the sole success coming over four years ago.

Suddenly Arsenal look pretty good at almost 2/1, right?

And the 7/2 on the Gunners to win and both teams to score looks tempting too, with both teams netting in six of the last seven meetings.

So given that City are averaging one win at Arsenal in nearly 50 years, we’re thinking Wenger’s men are on course for victory this weekend.
