Our trader Andrew Wildig has looked across the main sports taking place on Wednesday, starting with an Esports epic in the Boxing world…

eMike Tyson Vs Eric ‘eButterbean’ Esch

When Iron Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion of the world at 20 years and 145 days he had a records of 28-0 and 26 KOs or TKOs.

44 of his 50 wins were by TKO or KO and he is 1/8 to win this fight by stoppage and 1/12 to win by any means.

Butterbean, however in 91 fights has lost by TKO or KO only twice so there is arguably some value in taking Tyson to win this on points at 10/1.

If you fancy Tyson’s class to tell and the baddest man on the planet to win by KO or TKO, rounds 1 and 2 are joint favourites at 5/2.

2020 Candidates Chess tournament

The Candidates Chess tournament returns from a day break tomorrow with Round 7 of 14.

Ian Nepomniachtchi is Even money favourite ahead of 2018 winner Fabio Caruana at 11/4.

Nepomniachtchi is in form with three wins and three draws through six games. In 2018 Fabio Caruana won the tournament won five games from 14 and in 2016 Sergey Karjakin won through with five wins and nine draws from the 14 matches.

Nepomniatchtchi is currently ranked 5th in the world but his Fide rating peaked in September and his current form suggests he is getting better. He’s currently well ahead of the curve for the tournament. It’s hard to make a case for second place Fabiano Caruana who has so far only beaten last place Kirill Alekseenko.

In the short term the games continue where Nepomniachtchi is 6/1 to win as black against second place Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, where the draw is 3/10. Fabio Caruana is 13/8 to record a win against Wang Hao.

The Cactus Tour- Sundance

Hayley Moore leads the field at 7/2. Moore went to the University of Arizona so will be well aware of the local Sundance golf course.

Moore will be looking to build on her debut win on the Cactus tour in 2019 at Stallion Mountain. Second-favourite Sarah Burnham takes a step down in class from the LPGA tour, which hasn’t had an event since February, to join in with the Cactus tour and will be hoping her class tells, she is available at 4/1 in the outrights.
