Ladbrokes ambassador Dan Skelton previews his runners at Ascot and Haydock on Saturday

Ascot 12.40 – Go Steady

Go Steady kicks off things for us at Ascot in a Novices’ Handicap Hurdle. I think he will love the trip here and he should go very well.

Ascot 1.50 – Knight In Dubai

This is a nice race for him in the Howden Handicap Chase. I think the track will suit him and I think he will be a player after a good run last time.

Ascot 3.35 – West Cork

West Cork runs for us in the big handicap hurdle. We’ve won this twice before and I think he has a great chance in the race. Obviously he won the Greatwood Hurdle last time out and this was instantly the race we had in mind after that win. He is in great form at home.

Haydock 11.50 – Destrier & Firak

We have a few runners at Haydock who haven’t really got the best of form at the moment or are coming back from a long lay-off. We’ve got Destrier first. He ran the other day at Huntingdon and again he didn’t show the best form.

In Firak, I think he will need to sharpen up after having an injury and a long lay-off.

Haydock 2.05 – Boss Man Fred & Soul Emotion

We run two in this Handicap Hurdle. Boss Man Fred comes back from a long lay-off and will surely improve for the run. The same can be said for Soul Emotion.

Haydock 3.15 – Paddleyourowncanoe

Again, Paddleyourowncanoe will sharpen up for this run. We have done loads of work with these horses and I think they will just improve for the runs to be honest.
