Our traders have installed Fancy Blue as the 5/2 favourite for the Irish Oaks this Saturday at The Curragh.
Fancy Blue, who gave Donnacha O’Brien his first Classic victory in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly last month is expected to continue her winning form in a strong field.
The competitive renewal sees Cayenne Pepper as the 3/1 second favourite, while Peaceful is priced at 10/3.
John Gosden’s Star Catcher was an impressive winner of the 2019 Irish Oaks, kicking clear of his rivals under a positive ride from Frankie Dettori.
Notable winners of the Irish Oaks include Dahlia (1973), Snow Fairy (2009) and Enable (2017). Could we have another memorable winner in 2020?
