Can anyone stop Novak Djokovic at the ATP Finals?

The 2020 ATP Tour’s finale is already underway, but with plenty still to play for we’ve taken a deep dive into the favourites and underdogs that could ace it in London.
Having lost just three competitive singles matches this year, Novak Djokovic is the 11/10 outright favourite to take the season-ending title.
He’s already dispatched French Open semi-finalist Diego Schwartzman so far and has won four of the six hard court tournaments he’s entered in 2020.
So who’s going to stop him?
Rafael Nadal
Nadal made a big statement as he beat Andrey Rublev in only one hour and 18 minutes in his opening game on Sunday.
It means the Spaniard is the 4/1 joint-second favourite to take one of the only titles which has evaded him in his illustrious career.
We all know Nadal as the clay court master but he’s desperate to prove he can do it indoors and win his first title under a roof (not including Wimbledon) since Madrid in 2005.
He’s back in action tonight against the 2020 US Open winner Dominic Thiem, 5/1 to win the whole thing. Another Nadal victory at 8/15 will put him one step closer to that elusive title.
Daniil Medvedev
Nadal’s shares 4/1 second favour with 24-year-old Russian baseliner Daniil Medvedev. The 6’6 big man really started making a racket in 2019 winning two Masters titles and reaching the US Open final.
This season has seen him reach the last four at Flushing Meadows and winning the Paris Masters.
After losing all three of his matches in the tournament last year, Medvedev started with a straight sets win over Alexander Zverev on Monday. But the biggest test of his development will come next in a battle against Djokovic.
If he wins that, then there could be no stopping him.
How about last year’s winner?
Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Roger Federer and Thiem on his way to winning the 2019 ATP Finals, but is 16/1 to repeat that feat.
He also made two Grand Slam semifinals in 2019 and 2020 but having lost to Thiem already in the tournament, it’s vital the Greek turns things around against Rublev.
Only Kei Nishikori in 2016 has qualified with a 1-2 record. Tsitsipas still must play Nadal too, so could yet mount a charge to retain his title.
