Gold Bailey? Bill Bailey odds-on to win Strictly Come Dancing

| 16.11.2020

It’s not quite Leicester City in 2015, but comedian Bill Bailey has emerged as an odds-on chance to win Strictly Come Dancing despite having started the show as a 33/1 no-hoper.

The 55-year-old wasn’t given a cat in hell’s chance by our traders ahead of the opening episode, but four weeks in and he’s now our 4/6 favourite.

Elsewhere, it’s now HRVY who finds himself priced as 4/1 second-favourite after Maisie Smith (6/1) found herself in the bottom two on Sunday night.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Bill’s hardly put a foot wrong this series and having once been a rank outsider for the Glitterball Trophy, he’s now odds-on to go all the way.”
