Ex-Arsenal teammates Aaron Ramsey & Jack Wilshere set for Championship showdown

Ladbrokes looks ahead to the final day of the EFL season, with ex-Arsenal teammates Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere set for a Championship managerial showdown.
The former Arsenal legends, who played together for 10 years under Arsene Wenger, will be in opposing dugouts as Norwich City host Cardiff City in a fascinating Championship finale.
There is not a whole lot to play for, with Norwich in 14th and rock-bottom Cardiff's relegation to League One already confirmed. But Ladbrokes has you covered for the all the action across what will be a dramatic final day of the Championship.
While this match won't affect the playoff race or relegation battle, it offers an intriguing glimpse into the future for two players who once embodied Arsenal's hopes for a new generation, both now starting new chapters on the touchline.
It's yet another surprising storyline in this Championship season, after Luka Modric was recently confirmed as a part-owner of Swansea City.

Ramsey's Cardiff rescue act falls short
Ramsey, 34, was appointed interim player-manager at Cardiff earlier this month after Omer Riza's sacking, but was unable to prevent the Bluebirds from dropping down to League One.
The Welshman, who returned to Cardiff in 2023 after coming through the ranks there, has drawn both of his games in charge so far at home to Oxford United and West Brom.
However, that proved not to be enough with several teams around them winning in recent weeks, and relegation was confirmed last weekend. Ramsey will be hoping to finish the season on a high against his old midfield partner.
Wilshere earning his stripes at Norwich
Across the touchline, Jack Wilshere will be leading Norwich City out as their interim boss. Wilshere joined the Canaries in October after a spell as Arsenal's U18s manager, and was handed the reins after Johannes Hoff Thorup's departure.
After his playing career was so cruelly cut short by injury, plenty are rooting for Wilshere to succeed as a coach. He started promisingly with a goalless draw away to Middlesbrough, a result which damaged Boro's chances of making the playoffs.
Now, he gets to celebrate the special occasion of his first game at Carrow Road by facing off against his former teammate.
Norwich vs Cardiff prediction
Wilshere's Norwich are currently favourites to win at home, at odds of 8/13, with Cardiff's league position reflected in their odds of 19/5. The draw is priced at 10/3.
Neither team is in great form - hence the managerial changes. But with the Canaries at home on the final day, Norwich look a good bet to give Jack Wilshere his first managerial win in the sunshine.
What is for certain is that both managers will be tuned in to watch their former side Arsenal's huge Champions League semi-final against PSG on Tuesday.
