Ghana vs Australia – teams announced

The teams for Ghana v Australia are in and each manager has swapped his team around somewhat. The match kicks off at 3pm.

Ghana have been forced into two changes at the back by injuries to captain John Mensah and Isaac Vorsah, with Lee Addy and 19-year-old defender Jonathan Mensah (no relation) stepping in.

Harry Kewell will lead the Australia attack for their must-win Group D clash.

The former Liverpool forward’s call-up is one of four changes by coach Pim Verbeek to the side that lost 4-0 to Germany in their opening match.

David Carney replaces left-back Scott Chipperfield, Mark Bresciano replaces the injured Vince Grella and Brett Holman comes in for the suspended Tim Cahill.
