Will England get an official apology?

| 28.06.2010

LADBROKES go 4/1 about the President of Uruguay offering a formal apology to The Queen for his countryman’s refereeing performance yesterday (Sun).

And the firm, who paid out on their Geoff Hurst special following Lampard’s ‘goal’ against Germany, quote 10/1 about the linesman starring in a Specsavers advert.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “England’s performance was poor but the officials’ display was even worse. We will happily pay for an eye test for the men in black should they feel it necessary.”
