Euro transfer news – Schalke edge closer to Raul capture
Published:Schalke are close to completing the biggest transfer coup in the club’s history, as Real Madrid and Spain legend Raul nears a move to the Veltins-Arena.
With three Champions League and six La Liga titles to his name, Raul would bring a wealth of experience to a Schalke side who are 66/1 to win this season’s Champions League.
The 33-year-old forward is the all-time leading goalscorer for both Real Madrid and Spain, and he could prove to be an excellent addition to Felix Magath’s squad.
Wolfsburg midfielder Zvjesdan Misimovic is another reported transfer target for Schalke, who are also 7/1 contenders to win the Bundesliga.
