Atletico should have too much firepower for goal-shy Zaragoza

| 25.09.2010

Real Zaragoza’s troubles scoring on their travels could lead to them struggling to maintain their inspiring run over Atletico Madrid in recent seasons.

Zaragoza have avoided defeat in 13 of their previous 16 meetings with Atletico and are 6/1 to leave with an unexpected three points this season.

Atletico have won their last two home games against Zaragoza and in Diego Forlan have a striker bang in form.

Forlan has three goals in as many games as is 7/2 to open the scoring against Zaragoza, while Atletico are 4/9 to win.

The visitors have also failed to score in six of their last eight away games and have not found the target in three of their opening four La Liga games.

Elsewhere, although Hercules picked up a surprise three points away at Barcelona, they may struggle to repeat this at home to high-flying Sevilla, who are still unbeaten this season.

Hercules have collected four points from their two away games, but have fallen to single-goal defeats in both of their outings in front of their own fans.

They are 11/5 to beat Sevilla and the same price to secure their first home point of the season with a draw.

Their task is harder because of the fact that Sevilla have won their last four away games in La Liga and they are 1/1 to beat Hercules and extend this run.

Hercules did win the last time they played at home to Sevilla, which was a 3-0 victory in La Liga in 1996. See the full Hercules vs Seville La Liga match betting market.
