Del Neri will be looking for Juventus win against former club

Juventus may have a lot of new faces in their team from last season but their manager Luigi Del Neri will be keen that they gel quickly as he faces a showdown with his former club Sampdoria.

Del Neri watched his team produce a fairly uninspiring performance when losing 1-0 to Bari on the opening day of the season and may find things equally tough against a well organised Sampdoria.

Juventus are 4/5 to collect their first win of the Serie A season and can take positives from the 5-1 win they claimed against Sampdoria last season.

However, much has changed since and Sampdoria have Antonio Cassano firing on all cylinders, which could make the 4/1 available for an away win tempting.

Bari’s next outing takes them to Napoli, where they have not won since 1959.

Meanwhile, Bari did not have the greatest record on their travels last season when winning only twice and they were defeated 3-2 in both fixtures against Napoli.

The home side are 4/6 to claim maximum points again and goals should be witnessed as a result of Napoli’s strong array of attackers.

Edinson Cavani is 5/1 to open the scoring after grabbing Napoli’s goal in their opening-day 1-1 draw at Fiorentina.

The other televised Serie A game sees Brescia host Palermo, with Brescia preparing for their first home game since being promoted from Serie B last season.

They are 2/1 to mark the occasion with a victory, while Palermo will be hoping to take advantage of their superior squad to triumph at 11/8.

Brescia found out how difficult Serie A is likely to be this season when losing 2-0 at Parma in their first game, but will feel that they are more likely to secure points on their own patch than their travels.
