Parma vs Milan – Close encounter likely to be settled by odd goal

Published:

AC Milan must rediscover their touch in front of goal and improve upon their average away record if they wish to take the three points from their away clash with Parma.

Match Odds

Milan have only taken one point from their last five Serie A matches away from home, but can console themselves with the fact that they do not tend to concede many against Parma.

Parma have only scored twice in six games with Milan and until their home win last season they had failed to defeat Milan in 11 league matches.

Milan are 11/10 to beat Parma in the Serie A betting odds market, with the home side 13/5 to build on last season’s home victory and win again at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

If Milan are to win then they may want others to chip in with goals to support Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is their only player to have scored in their last three games and is doubtful for the Parma clash with an abductor muscle injury.

A more positive piece of news is that Alexandre Pato has recovered from a thigh problem and should feature, while Ronaldinho will return after being rested for the Champions League draw against Ajax.

Milan have also only managed three goals in their last four Serie A games.

Under 2.5 goals

No more than two goals have been scored in the last six games between the pair and it is 8/11 that under 2.5 goals are struck this season.

Meanwhile, the last three meetings have only averaged a goal a game and 12/5 is available that under 1.5 goals are scored.

Parma have not won a Serie A game since defeating Brescia on the opening day of the season, but are likely to play Hernan Crespo in attack against one of his former clubs. See the full Parma vs AC Milan match betting odds market.
