England Six Nations Betting Odds

Martin Johnson’s time in charge of the England rugby team hasn’t been without it’s difficulties, but things have been slowly getting better for England on the pitch.

Their improved form has seen them installed as favourites in the Ladbrokes Six Nations betting to win the championship at 15/8.

England enjoyed a decent but not spectacular autumn, with an excellent 35-18 win over Australia being tempered by convincing defeats against New Zealand and South Africa.

However, England are worthy of their position as favourites in the Six Nations rugby betting, with Johnson already naming a strong elite squad of 33 players ahead of their first Six Nations game against Wales on 4th February.

With Ladbrokes offering a free £25 bet for new customers who sign up here, a £25 stake on an English win in the Six Nations would return £72 which seems like a great bet considering their improved form.

A trio of French-based players – James Haskell, Tom Palmer and Johnny Wilkinson – will provide the experience for an England squad littered with young, unproven players. Foremost is Wasps No.9 Joe Simpson who has been impressive for the London side this season, but has yet to win a cap.

England are 5/1 in the Six Nations betting to win the Grand Slam, but they will have their work cut out, with hard trips to Wales and Ireland awaiting them.

However, a bet on England to win the Six Nations for the first time since 2003 could be well worth a bet at 15/8.

A £25 bet on England to win the Grand Slam could see a return of £150. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
