Punters keane to back Roy for return to Championship

Published:

ROY KEANE is 6/4 with Ladbrokes to take charge of any Championship side before the end of 2012.

It’s 33/1 his next job is with Manchester United and despite his past grievances with the IFA he can be backed at 25/1 to succeed Giovanni Trapattoni and take charge of the national team.

With several current Premier League managers facing the chop his name could be one soon linked with a vacancy and 5/1 is the price about Keane taking over any Premier League club on a permanent basis before the end of the next season.

He has always been public in his appraisal of GAA and should he feel disenfranchised with football it’s 500/1 he sensationally quits the game to take charge of his home county Cork.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “With the current managerial merry-go-round moving at a rate of knots it won’t be long before he is linked with various positions both domestically and possibly further afield.”
