With Andy Coulson’s departure confirmed several names have been linked with the position and despite ruling himself out of the running Ben Brogan is the 4/1 second favourite.
Rebekah Brooks is a 25/1 chance with Piers Morgan an interesting outsider at 66/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The rumour mill is churning at full speed already and we expect the money to soon speak volumes about the identity of the new spokesperson.”
