Bjorn looking for quickfire European Tour double

Published:

THOMAS BJORN is 50/1 with Ladbrokes to win the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The bookies have been considerably more cautious with him this time around having been stung last week at 150/1 following his victory in Doha.

Tiger Woods and Martin Kaymer are the 5/1 joint favourites for the tournament with Rory McIlroy the 6/1 second favourite.

Lee Westwood trades at 12/1 with young star Matteo Manassero a 33/1 shot.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We’re hoping Bjorn doesn’t turn it on again in the Desert as he will still have his backers at 50/1. The top of the market is very tight indicating this could be a close tournament and we can’t split Woods & Kaymer at this stage.”
