Cole & Cowell odds-on to stay – Scherzinger best of the rest
Published:All Four current X Factor judges are odds-on to return for another series of the X Factor according to Ladbrokes.
Despite rumours that Simon Cowell & Cheryl Cole are set to quit the UK edition of the show to focus on America, they both earn 2/5 quotes from the bookies to stay for the next series.
Louis Walsh is the most likely candidate to judge again at 1/5 with Nicole Scherzinger a hotly tipped successor should anyone leave at 6/1.
Stacey Solomon’s odds have also been slashed to 6/1 from 25/1 with Piers Morgan another well backed potential replacement at 10/1 (from 50/1).
Current outsiders include Elton John at 33/1 and Jason Donovan & Cilla Black (both 50/1)
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The original panel are all odds-on to stay but if there is to be a reshuffle both Sherzinger & Solomon look poised to take over.”
