Espanyol vs Real Madrid – Bet on a fourth straight 3-0 win

Published:

Jose Mourinho may be feeling the pressure but Real Madrid offer plenty of value this weekend despite being 1/2 to beat Espanyol on Sunday.

Real are seven points behind Barcelona in the La Liga table and are as big as 6/1 to win the Spanish league this season, and Mourinho knows that failure isn’t good enough at the prestigious club.

However this week should see Real register their third straight win since that shock loss to Osasuna, and having beaten Espanyol 3-0 on three consecutive occassions, they are 8/1 to make it four.

But after starting the season so strong at the back, Real have kept just one clean sheet in six league games and backing both sides to score at 8/11, and a 3-1 result at 9/1 holds the better value.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the main threat to Espanyol, but Kaka is starting to return to something near his best form and the Brazilian is 9/2 to get the first goal with Ronaldo available at 11/4.

Deportivo vs Villarreal

Sunday’s other televised game in La Liga pits third place Villarreal against 17th Deportivo and the Yellow Submarines are the 11/10 favourites to win.

But Deportivo have won three of their last four home matches with Villarreal, and after a stunning 3-3 draw with Sevilla a fortnight ago, Deportivo offer plenty of value at 5/2.

Goals are usually at a premium in this tie with the last three matches between the two all ending 1-0 and both sides are available at 7/1 to win 1-0 on Sunday.

Under 2.5 goals is available at 5/6 but punters should take the 9/4 for under 1.5 goals in a game which is unlikely to upstage the Espanyol vs Real Madrid game.

Guiseppi Rossi continues to impress in La Liga an the former Manchester United man is 4/1 to get the first and what is likely to be the only goal.

A £25 stake on Real Madrid winning La Liga would return £175. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
