King Colin slashed for knighthood after Oscars haul

| 27.02.2011

COLIN FIRTH’S odds of being knighted have been slashed by Ladbrokes.

He is now 4/1 (from 50/1) to be knighted in the next year after his haul at the Oscars, which also landed several hefty bets for punters who rightly viewed him as a certainty.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “He’s already Sir Colin in the eyes of our punters and he now appears to have a great chance of scooping yet another award.”
