Punters go nuts for KP
Published:Kevin Pietersen has been cut by Ladbrokes to be England’s top run scorer at the World Cup.
Following the announcement that he’ll be opening for England punters were quick to back him to top the run-scoring charts, with his price for both England (7/2 from 4/1) and World Cup (25/1 from 33/1) quickly shortening due to the support.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Punters believe that KP will be a lethal opener and that he could easily power his way to the top of the run charts.”
