Torres favourite for debut goal in Champions League

CHELSEA ARE 4/6 with Ladbrokes to win in Copenhagen on Tuesday night.

Copenhagen are 9/2 to win the game on home soil with 5/2 the price about the draw. Fernando Torres, yet to get off the mark for his new club, is the 3/1 favourite in the first goalscorer market with 8/11 the quote about him finding the net at any time.

Blackpool host Spurs in a league clash with the Seasiders currently trading at just 5/4 for the drop. It’s 7/2 they prevail with Spurs the odds-on favourites to win at 8/11.

The first goalscorer market looks wide open with three joint favourites in the shape of Crouch, Defoe and Pavlyuchenko all at 9/2.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Chelsea are still odds-on to register a much needed win but if this game would have taken place with them in their prime we’d have been quoting them at far shorter prices. Blackpool desperately need all three points to avoid the drop but the odds suggest Spurs will land the spoils and maintain the pressure on Chelsea for the final Champions League place.”
