Sheen to pip teen and pop queen to Twitter dream
Published:CHARLIE SHEEN is 1/1 to have more Twitter followers than Justin Bieber by the end of the March, according to Ladbrokes.
Bieber currently has 7.8m followers but Sheen’s account has exploded in the last 24 hours, picking up 1,000,000 followers.
The bookies also offer 1/2 that Sheen will have more followers than Lady Gaga (8.5m) by the end of April, making him the most followed person on the social networking site. He is 4/6 to be the first person to hit 10,000,000 followers.
David Williams from Ladbrokes said: “Charlie Sheen has turned into an overnight Twitter sensation. Picking up 1,000,000 followers in 24 hours is staggering. At this rate he’ll soon crash through the 10,000,000 mark and will leave twitter veterans Bieber and Gaga in his wild-man wake.”
